Exhibiting at Saudi Trade Shows — What International Companies Should Know

Early stand booking is essential: Premium stand positions at major Saudi shows — LEAP in particular — sell out 4–6 months before the event. Organiser floor plans are released annually, and position selection requires prompt action after floor plan release.
A local partner is practically essential: All permit submissions, venue technical approvals, and on-site management interactions with Saudi authorities happen in Arabic. An international team attempting to navigate this without a local partner faces significant delays and risk.
Government attendees are the highest-value visitors: Saudi exhibitions are unusual in that senior ministry officials, government procurement heads, and PIF-backed entity representatives attend in significant numbers and are generally accessible on the show floor — more so than at comparable Western events.
Arabic branding signals commitment: Including Arabic text on your stand (company name, key product descriptors, contact details) consistently increases engagement from Saudi government visitors compared to English-only stands.
Budget for logistics time: Saudi Customs processing times for exhibition materials vary. Build 2–3 buffer days into your logistics plan relative to the stand build start date.
